Born and raised in India, Vaishali went on to pursue Graduate Studies in the United (hidden)e work had always been a passion, and when she found herself in LA amidst people in ‘the biz’, the temptation to dive in was hard to resist. She went on to train with the amazing Nancy Wolfson for commercials, and with Stephen Rudnicki for narration.
Vaishali has been behind the microphone for eight years now. A Literature/Journalism background helps her interpret copy pretty quickly and infuse the written word with evocative vocals, either to create fictional characters for audio books, or to help businesses project a professional image.
Maryland Public Television, Brilliance Audio, Yahoo!, Tata Docomo, Noggin Labs, and University Press Audiobooks are included in her client list. She looks forward to experimenting with her voice and expanding her repertoire. Her favorite part of vo work is the fact that it transcends geographical boundaries.
Currently in Mumbai, India, Vaishali has ready access to a professional studio which includes the highest quality equipment for recording and editing. She can send audio files via e-mail or upload them to a server.
Besides English, Vaishali is fluent in Hindi and Marathi.
